2:00 – 3:30 PM Taylor Moore Divine Feminine Sexual Embodiment This workshop will be an invitation for women to connect to their sexuality, self-love, and grow in confidence. Our programming has taught women that we need to rely on outside sources to feel sexy, beautiful, and confident. Many women have the thoughts: “Oh, I could never be sexy. My body isn’t sexy. I can’t move like that.” This workshop is designed to guide women into movements that allow them to see how beautiful and sexy they really are, and to really embody that sexuality. Using her background of dancing and facilitating healing for women, Taylor will guide women through various movement meditations, dance moves, and affirmations, all geared towards creating that validation of beauty and “sexiness” from within. In addition to guided movement, women will have the space to move freely, exploring what it means to be sexy to them. At the end, we will learn a short sexy choreography to bring together everything learned in the workshop. We also will also learn techniques to regulate the nervous system when expressing ourselves in this way, how to cultivate safety within our bodies. We will close with a closing circle for sharing reflections.
3:40 – 5:00 PM Will Sechrist Yoga Nidra Meditation This guided mediation, typically done in a supported laying position, is an exploration of consciousness, supporting one’s understanding of the state of deep peace and wellbeing that is inherent to their being. Yoga nidra meditation is an ancient practice, reportedly taught as a fast track to enlightenment- taught only to the royal. Today, yoga nidra is helping those experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, and PTSD. This class can provide deep relaxation, therapeutic benefit to the body and mind, and downloads of insights and wisdom.
